For
2010 JKM have purchased a new facelift Skoda Octavia VRS fitted with
a 2.0 TSI 200PS engine (CCZA).
These models contain the new generation of 2.0 Turbocharged engine and JKM will be using this vehicle to develop and test their own tuning components alongside existing suppliers, enabling us to compile the best tuning packages and products for owners of 2.0 TSI engines! This page will be regularly updated with our progress on the Skoda - be sure to bookmark this page. Audi Track Day at Castle Combe 24/07/10 JKM Took the Skoda 2.0 TSI out for a good shake down track session at Castle Combe race circuit on the 24th July 2010. We had a great day out and the car performed superbly all day. We managed to surprise a few cars with significantly more bhp. Our Skoda was running on KW variant 3 suspension, Standard roll bars, Standard Dunlop tyres, Standard brakes (Racing blue fluid though), Revo stage 1 software, Audi S3 TSI intercooler along with an Evoms intake system and a Milltek cat back exhaust. REVO
Software! (Performance mode 2) REVO Technik have been very busy over the past month getting the TSI software ready for our cars ECU. Luckily for JKM the ECU fitted in our car was not security locked and therefore serial programmable. In order to make some comparisons we put the standard air box back into the car, though we left the Milltek cat back exhaust fitted. Running on Shell V Power 99RON which JKM recommend and with the software set to Performance mode 2 - The JKM TSI made 254.5BHP and 310Ft/Lb -which is an excellent result. Stock
Power Run Horsepower and Torque. This run was made prior to any modifications being made. The engine had done about 300 miles at the point of this dyno run. Stock power is stated by Skoda at 200PS - which is 197BHP. Stock torque is quoted at 280Nm which is 207 Ft/Lb - so we are looking fine. Running on Shell V Power 99RON which JKM recommend.
