JKM Motor Services Ltd are able to supply and fit Genuine Original Equipment parts to allow us to retro fit Cruise Control to a vast range of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda vehicles that are 'drive by wire throttle' (i.e they have an electronically controlled throttle). On some applications we will add minor additional wiring to your vehicle installed as per manufactures requirements, and we will always add a new design stalk to your car that contains the simple cruise controls. Genuine parts are used thoughout this installation. |

Cruise
Control operation for VAG applications: When the car/van etc is driven at 20mph or over, the (Set) button on the stalk can be pressed and the result is that the vehicle will remain at the set speed. There is a (+) button to increase the cruise speed and a (-) button to decrease the cruise speed. If the Clutch or Brake is touched during 'cruise' operation the speed control will be deactivated. You can then simply press the (resume) button to resume the previously set speed. Switching the main (On/Off) button to the (Off) position will disable all of the cruise control functions. |

Please note that on applications from typically year 2005 onwards, JKM
will check that your steering wheel control electronics module is compatible
to be coded to operate with a cruise control system. Ross Tech (VAG-COM) have a continual running list of steering controllers along with their suitability for cruise control etc at this link. This can be checked by using suitable diagnostics software (as per what JKM use). If unfortunately your steering control module is found to be not compatible with cruise control - JKM can supply and code a new item for your vehicle. The price for this can vary from car to car and so a price will be advised to you prior to any work commencing. |
